Neuzusammenstellung der STOXX Global ESG Leaders Indexfamilie

STOXX Ltd., der Betreiber des Indexgeschäfts der Gruppe Deutsche Börse und globaler Anbieter innovativer handelbarer Indexkonzepte, hat die Ergebnisse der jährlichen Überprüfung der STOXX Global ESG Leaders-Indizes bekanntgegeben. Neben dem Hauptindex, dem STOXX Global ESG Leaders, wurden auch die drei Sub-Indizes überprüft: STOXX Global ESG Environmental Leaders, STOXX Global ESG Social Leaders und STOXX Global ESG Governance Leaders. Alle Änderungen sind seit heute, 18. September 2017, gültig.

Nach der Anpassung enthält der Hauptindex jetzt 404 Werte. 107 Titel wurden hinzugefügt, 40 Unternehmen gehören dem Index dagegen nicht weiter an. Die STOXX Global ESG Leaders-Index-Familie enthält eine auf den ESG-Indikatoren von Sustainalytics basierende Auswahl der im Hinblick auf Umwelt, Soziales und Unternehmensführung weltweit führenden Unternehmen. Für jeden Indikator wird ein Wert von 0 bis 100 vergeben. Die Bewertung der ESG-Kriterien definiert sich als gewichtete Summe der Indikator-Werte, wobei sich das Gewichtungssystem und die verwendeten Indikatoren nach der Branche richten, in der das Unternehmen angesiedelt ist.
