Forge Europe - a joint venture of Deutsche Boerse and Forge Global - launched in Berlin in October 2022. It is the European marketplace for direct secondary transactions in late stage / pre-IPO startups. Forge Global, in which Deutsche Boerse is also invested in the US, has already transacted $13bn in volume via the US platform; $600m+ thereof in an European context in startups like Spotify (before the listing), Revolut or Klarna.
November 6, 2025 – The Charles Schwab Corporation announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Forge Global Holdings, Inc. in a transaction valued at approx. US$660m.
