Relevant knowledge, skills and experience

Maria-Regina Wohak began her professional career at Deutsche Börse Group in 1994 and has headed the division responsible for calculating the DAX indices and various other index families at Deutsche Börse Group since 2015. In this role, she most recently oversaw the successful migration of DAX index calculations to the cloud. In addition, she supports initial public offerings on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, including in the area of initial pricing on the first day of trading. Ms. Wohak possesses comprehensive and in-depth knowledge in the areas of human resources, data, and information technology. She is also active on the Works Council of Deutsche Börse AG, of which she has been a member for many years, serving as Chair of the Personnel Committee and Vice Chair, among other roles. Ms. Wohak has been Chair of the Works Council since April 2026. She has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG since 2024 and serves on the Strategy and Sustainability Committee as well as the Technology Committee.
