Oliver Greie began his career in 2002 at the Vereinte Dienstleistungsgewerkschaft (ver.di) and has been Regional Tariff Coordinator for the state of Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia since 2010. In his role as a tariff negotiator, he is the primary point of contact for matters relating to policy and legislation, and is committed to balancing between economic requirements and social responsibility, thereby making a significant contribution to the constructive reconciliation of interests. Mr. Greie has extensive expertise in areas including public finance and risk management, and brings experience in tariff bargaining and human resources management, particularly within the context of non-governmental organizations, to the table. Furthermore, Mr. Greie has board experience serving on various supervisory bodies, such as the Budget and Finance Committee of the German Pension Insurance from 2019 to 2021, and the Budget Committee of Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (mdr), of which he has been a member since 2022. Mr. Greie has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG since 2022. He is a member of the Audit and Risk Committee and the Mediation Committee.
