New location at Mergenthalerallee 61-71/ Move planned for summer 2010

Deutsche Börse Group will be moving into a new office building at Mergenthalerallee 61-71 in the Eschborn-Süd business park in the summer of 2010. The final preparations for construction of the new building are underway.

The structure is based on an ecological concept and is designed to meet the very latest requirements. For example, the building will be equipped with energy-saving heat recovery systems and combined cooling, heating, and power generation, and will also use solar energy. Low impact and environmentally sound building materials are to be used as far as possible.

The 20-storey cube-shaped building was designed by architects KSP Engel & Zimmermann GmbH from Frankfurt/Main. Project developer is Lang & Groß Projektentwicklung GmbH, also from Frankfurt.

With total floor space of around 53,000 m², the building will house more than 2,000 office workstations. The official foundation stone laying ceremony is scheduled for the fall of 2008.
