Deutsche Börse presents Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2013 exhibition at company headquarters

Opening event with prize holders Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin on 12 September/ Open to public for guided tours until end of November (after registration)
Deutsche Börse will open its “Deutsche Börse Photography Prize 2013” exhibition at its company headquarters in Eschborn on the evening of 12 September 2013. This year’s winners of the renowned photography prize, Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, will be attending the vernissage to present their work. Broomberg and Chanarin were honoured in June 2013 at the Photographers’ Gallery, London, for their work “War Primer 2”.
The work of the three other finalists will also be on show: Mishka Henner with his exhibition “No Man’s Land”, Chris Killip with “What Happened – Great Britain 1970–1990” and Cristina De Middel for her publication “The Afronauts”.

The Deutsche Börse Photography Prize annually awards a contemporary photographic artist who has made an important contribution to photography in Europe in the previous year through an exhibition or publication. The prize, worth GBP 30,000, gives a comprehensive insight into current trends in international photography and has been awarded at The Photographers’ Gallery in London since 1996. Deutsche Börse Group has been sponsoring the prize since 2005.
