Deutsche Börse Conducts Changes to Indices DivDAX and ÖkoDAX

Changes in the strategy and international indices are effective as of 22 September 2008

On Friday, Deutsche Börse announced changes to its indices DivDAX® and ÖkoDAX. Effective 22 September, new weights will apply in the German equity indices DAX®, MDAX®, SDAX® and TecDAX®, as well as in the strategy indices and the international indices of Deutsche Börse including ÖkoDAX and DivDAX.

In DivDAX the following shares will be included: Merck, MAN and BMW. The shares of Hypo Real Estate, Continental and Deutsche Börse will leave the index.

In ÖkoDAX the share of SMA Solar will be included and replace the share of Ersol Solar Energy. The ÖkoDAX index tracks the ten largest stocks from the renewable energies sector in terms of market capitalization.
