Getting started: the graduate trainee programmes at Deutsche Börse

At Deutsche Börse, we consider the recruitment of new employees as a vital element: it’s the commitment of all our colleagues that drives Deutsche Börse Group forward and that makes us successful as a company. That is why we continuously strive to attract new talents.

In order to do so, we already launched a trainee programme within the financial area last year – and now are expanding our graduate trainee programmes across other areas: Corporate Strategy, IT, Trading & Clearing and Pre- & Post-Trading. We have designed a unique programme dedicated to master graduates who aim at starting their career at Deutsche Börse Group.

Implementing more talent attraction measures plays a major role as we set our target to further strengthen the positioning of Deutsche Börse as an attractive employer and expand our network across young talents to increase our awareness. 

A fresh breeze and new ideas as well as long-term loyalty are important for the future of the company – in return, we enable young talents to join us directly after graduation and facilitate the start of their career: individually tailored rotations within the trainee programme and the opportunity to gain insights into several areas within one division.

We talked to Jan Stromberg, Head of Talent Attraction & Employer Branding, who gives us some more insights into the new trainee programmes.
