Cash market trading volumes in November


Deutsche Börse’s cash markets generated a turnover of €115.10 billion in November (previous year: €160.64 billion / previous month: €98.16 billion).

€112.51 billion were attributable to Xetra (previous year: €155.38 billion / previous month €96.02 billion), bringing the average daily Xetra trading volume to €5.11 billion (previous year: €7.06 billion/ previous month: €4.57 billion). Trading volumes on Börse Frankfurt were €2.59 billion (previous year: €5.26 billion / previous month: €2.14 billion).*

By type of asset class, equities accounted for €95.88 billion in the entire cash market. Trading in ETFs/ETCs/ETNs generated a turnover of €17.94 billion. Turnover in bonds was €0.39 billion, in certificates €0.83 billion and in funds €0.05 billion.

The DAX stock with the highest turnover on Xetra in November was Linde plc with €5.08 billion. Commerzbank AG led the MDAX with €1.11 billion, while Uniper SE led the SDAX index with €252 million. In the ETF segment the iShares Core DAX UCITS ETF generated the largest volume with €850 million.
